Cru below La Volta Castle, from which it draws not only a magnificent landscape but also its name. It is located between 380 and 400 meters above sea level, characterized by clay soils, with evident tuffaceous veins. The wines that come from La Volta are soft, with an impact of intense perfume and sweet, round tannins. The winery owns two vineyards, one historic and one recently acquired. The total area is 2.5 hectares, planted entirely with Nebbiolo. Grapes from the southern side are used exclusively for Baroli: Buon Padre and in particularly suitable vintages, for the rarer La Volta reserve, respectively. The vineyard further west, on the other hand, is used entirely for the production of Langhe Nebbiolo.
